Our Nepalese parties get all of your guests interacting, having fun and eating well!

Nepalese celebrations are full of colour, tikka powder and all things sweet.  And that's what we bring to you.  Guests  arrive to the sound of Nepalese music in a venue decked out in bright prayer flags.  They  receive a portion of 'mithai' (traditional sweets) upon arrival and then get the opportunity to bless the guest of honour.  This involves saying something nice and putting a smudge of red tikka powder on their forehead, cheeks or pretty much anywhere on their face.  Partygoers in Nepal often get quite carried away with this aspect of a celebration, covering the host's entire face in red.  We would encouage you to do the same!

Guests are seated in groups with their momo dough, fillings and rolling pins.  They receive instruction on how to make the perfect momo and then it's their turn.  The result is generally a collection of weird and wonderful dumplings that we cook up for to eat as a starter.  While these are cooking we can host some momo based games with prizes for the fastest, the neatest and the most creative momo in show!  Alternatively, now that the ice has been broken and everyone is talking and laughing together you may prefer to simply enjoy each others' company.  That's fine, too.

Momos are followed by Nepalese curries and rice and finished off with a refreshing mango lassi for dessert.

Our Party Service is flexible and more than happy to adapt our standard format to suit your event.  For a sample menu, terms and conditions and pricing please click here.  Alternatively, contact us to discuss your event in more detail.
