Keshav founded Momo Cooking in 2013. Initially, he was the only one running the classes, catering and food stalls. Keshav loves nothing more than getting into the kitchen and teaching a session himself, but as the business - and his family - started to grow, he has brought in others to help share the load. He retains overall control of menus and recipes, ensuring that everything produced in the Momo Kitchen is truly authentic.
Keshav's wife, Philippa, lacks the Nepalese genes but she does have a brilliant grasp on the language, culture and – most importantly for us – the food. Her ‘dal bhat’ passes the Nepali mother-in-law test and she can certainly hold her own with a momo! Philippa lived and worked in Nepal for several years beore convincing Keshav to give life in the UK a try and she loves nothing more than sharing her experiences and understanding of the country with participants on classes.
Daniel joined Momo Cooking in 2015. He has a wealth of Front of House experience in the Food and Beverage industry and initially focused on serving Momo customers at team building and catering events. He loved our food so much that he even had us serve it to guests at his wedding (he didn't work that event, though!). As time went by, he started to support Keshav and Philippa during classes, looking after participants, keeping everything clean and generally ensuring that everything runs smoothly. More recently, Daniel has taken on the Cooking Leader role, sharing his knowledge and passion of our food with participants across all of our classes.
